Acceptable Brief Policy

1. Purpose

This policy sets out the types of briefs QuillCraft Content can and cannot accept. It exists to protect readers, clients and the integrity of the writing practice.

2. Briefs I Accept

  • Honest, factually grounded content for lawful UK businesses.
  • Writing that is helpful to a defined audience.
  • Editorial, informational and marketing content that reflects the client's genuine services.

3. Briefs I Cannot Accept

  • Misleading, defamatory or deceptive content.
  • Content that infringes third-party rights or copyright.
  • Content that promotes unlawful goods, services or activity.
  • Bulk, spun or purely keyword-driven content with no reader value.
  • Content designed to impersonate another business or individual.
  • Content promoting discrimination or hate.

4. Right to Decline

I reserve the right to decline any brief that falls outside this policy, or to withdraw from a project if information supplied after acceptance materially conflicts with it. In such cases, any refund is handled fairly under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
