Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: November 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all one-time content-writing packages purchased from QuillCraft Content. It sits alongside the Terms and Conditions.
2. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If the project is cancelled in writing before any research, planning or writing has been carried out, a full refund is offered.
3. Work Already Completed
Where writing has already been drafted, the value of the work completed remains payable. Any unused portion of the fee may be refunded on a fair, prorated basis.
4. Research and Planning
Where research, planning or outlining has been carried out, that work is chargeable and is deducted from any refund.
5. Partial Delivery
Where a deliverable has been partially completed, a partial refund may be considered, reflecting the value of the completed work.
6. Missed Client Deadlines
Where a project is delayed by more than 30 days due to non-response, missed briefs or non-supply of required materials by the client, the fee remains payable and a refund is not typically offered.
7. Failure to Supply the Brief
If the required brief is not supplied within a reasonable time, a portion of the fee reflecting research and administrative work undertaken may be retained.
8. Revision Requests Outside Scope
Refunds are not offered for revision requests that fall outside the originally agreed scope.
9. Payment Disputes
Chargebacks or disputed payments should be discussed with me directly first. Unwarranted disputes may be challenged.
10. Direct Debit Indemnity Claims
Where a payment has been made by BACS Direct Debit, statutory indemnity rights under the Direct Debit Guarantee (administered by your bank) remain unaffected.
11. Refund-Request Process
Refund requests should be submitted in writing to hello@quillcraftcontent.co.uk, including the original order reference, package purchased and reason for the request.
12. Expected Review Time
Refund requests are normally reviewed within 10 business days and a written response provided.
13. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law where they apply.
