Frequently Asked

Twenty honest answers.

Everything most clients ask before we start a project — answered directly and without marketing gloss.

Who writes the content?

Every deliverable is written by Rupa Thapa. There are no subcontracted writers, no offshore teams and no unnamed staff. If you email QuillCraft Content, the person who writes for you also reads and replies.

Is the content original?

Yes. All writing is prepared from scratch for your specific brief. Existing material is only reused where you supply it and explicitly ask for it to be adapted.

Do you use AI?

I may use professional digital tools for planning, research organisation, grammar checks or workflow support where appropriate, but each final deliverable is reviewed, shaped and prepared according to your agreed brief. I do not provide copied or automatically published bulk content.

What information is needed before writing starts?

Subject, target audience, desired tone, scope, word count, deadline, existing brand material and any preferred references or examples. A full brief form is available on the Contact page.

What is included in each package?

The Pricing page lists exactly what is included in each package — deliverables, revisions and delivery. Scope is confirmed in writing before work begins.

Can I request a custom scope?

Yes. If none of the standard packages fit, share the brief and I will prepare a bespoke quotation.

How are files delivered?

Content is normally delivered as a formatted document (Google Docs or Microsoft Word). Alternative formats can be arranged on request.

How many revisions are included?

Each package includes one consolidated revision round per deliverable, unless a different structure is agreed in advance. This helps keep revisions coherent and efficient.

How long does delivery take?

Turnaround depends on scope and current workload. A specific delivery date is agreed in writing before work begins, and I hold to it or contact you in advance.

Can you match my brand voice?

Yes. If you share existing content, brand guidelines or example pieces you like, I will align tone and phrasing accordingly. Where no guidelines exist, I recommend a short tone-of-voice discussion at the brief stage.

Do you guarantee search rankings?

No. Content is written to be genuinely useful and search-informed, but rankings and traffic depend on many external factors beyond any single piece of content.

Do you offer ongoing subscriptions?

No. Every engagement is a one-time content project with a fixed price and a defined scope. If you want to work together again, we simply agree a new project.

Can I pay by BACS Direct Debit?

Where available through Stripe Checkout, eligible UK customers may see BACS Direct Debit as a payment option. Availability depends on the customer, the transaction and Stripe account settings.

Are payments recurring?

No. All payments are one-time payments for a defined package. There are no automatic renewals, subscriptions or standing charges.

What happens after checkout?

You will be prompted to submit your project brief. Once I have reviewed it, I confirm the scope in writing before writing begins.

Can I cancel before work starts?

Yes. If no research or writing has yet been carried out, a full refund is offered. See the Refund Policy for the specific terms.

What if work has already begun?

Refunds after work has begun are prorated according to research and drafting already completed. Any completed deliverable remains payable in full.

Who owns the final content?

Ownership of the final, approved content transfers to you once full payment has been received. Drafts, unused concepts and internal working documents remain with QuillCraft Content unless otherwise agreed.

Can content be published immediately?

Yes, once ownership transfers. Final factual and legal approval before publication remains your responsibility.

How do I contact Rupa Thapa?
